Snow Fitness Holiday

Overview:

Beat the winter blues with our fabulous Skiing / Fitness Holiday this March. This spring week will get you out in the snow, sunshine and fresh air to learn new sports, get fit and have fun.

You do not have to be a great skier to come on this week. The sports we do mean everyone can have a go and include;

  • Cross Country Skiing
  • Snow-Shoeing
  • Running (subject to conditions)
  • Pilates and Swimming in the evenings

Most mornings you will go out to do one of the sports above, before having lunch on the mountain and heading out to ski. Training and equipment is provided for each of the sports mentioned, except for the afternoon skiing, which is at your own choice.

A Personal Trainer will be available one day during your stay to give you a check on your personal fitness and provide a training programme for you to work on when you get home.

You will stay in the luxurious Maison Caramel in the heart of the Tarantaise Valley. Each day you will be driven to the location of the sport you are doing that day and then to the ski slopes in the afternoon to ski or you can come back down to the valley to run locally or relax.

In the evenings we host one pilates class and one swimming session.

We provide you with breakfast and dinner and lunch is at your doing on the slope or we can provide you with a picnic lunch. The food in the chalet is locally sourced, organic where possible and delicious. (Please note though the menu is designed for skiers and it is not a weight-loss camp. We can cater for food allergies if you give us notice in advance.)

The price is £1330 pp for a private room and includes;

  • Luxury accommodation for 7 nights
  • Continental breakfast and cooked option
  • Afternoon tea and cakes on return to the chalet
  • Gourmet 3-course dinner with wine for 6 nights (we go out for dinner one night on the chalet night off)
  • Airport transfers (Geneva or Chambery to the chalet)
  • Transport to and from activity locations
  • 4 mornings of activities including cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing, ice climbing, ski-touring and running with a professional trainer / guide
  • 4 days guided skiing on the piste for blue run skiers and above
  • 1 evening pilates session, 1 evening swimming session
  • One-to-one fitness check with a Personal Trainer
  • 30 minute sports massage
  • All equipment hire and training for the winter sports (except for skiing, where ski hire, lessons and ski passes are extra)
  • 24/7 concierge service
  • Picnic lunches can be arranged at a small cost

The costs to you are flights, holiday insurance, skiing (ski passes, ski hire and ski lessons), lunch on the piste or a picnic lunch, dinner one evening on the chalet night off and drinks.
